(Home Team in CAPS, Picks Highlighted)

New York Giants @ (-17.5) NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Houston Texans (+5) @ KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

San Francisco Giants (+3) @ LOS ANGELES RAMS

Dallas Cowboys  (-7.5)@ NEW YORK JETS

Two and two last week and finally in the win column! Going undefeated this week, mark my words. The Patriots covered a gigantic spread against the Washington Deadskins last week, and I think they do the same at home against a banged-up Giants team. Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram, and Sterling Shephard will all be out this Thursday night. Add in the first primetime game for Mr. Daniel Jones and you’ve got a cocktail of combustible elements that should contribute to an explosive Pats win and cover.

Houston is at KC this week in a showdown of elite-young quarterbacks. The Texans come off a scorched-earth destruction of the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. I like Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller to keep the rhythm rolling this weekend against the Chiefs. Mahomes has looked human the past two weeks, and the Chiefs defense has been less than stout. Vegas must have taken leave of their senses when they made the line for this San Francisco line. All San Francisco has done in their first four games is win and look dominant.

The Rams have looked weirdly impotent offensively. Their defense has struggled mightily giving up 85 points over the past two games. I think San Francisco gets out to an early lead and then pounds the ball the rest of the game, neutralizing Aaron Donald. When playing bad teams this year the Cowboys are 3-0 against the spread. That continues this weekend. Sam “Mono” Darnold throws three picks, book it!

2-6 on the season
