McPherson emergency personnel responded to two seemingly intense situations yesterday, that turned out to be unfounded.
At approximately 11:47 a.m. McPherson Emergency Medical Services, McPherson Police officers and deputies from the McPherson Sheriff’s Office responded to East Haight Street in reference to a possible burglary or home invasion. This call turned out to be unfounded, according to Mac PD officials.
In addition, at approximately 9:03 p.m., McPherson EMA and EMS, the McPherson Fire Department and McPherson Police Department officers responded to South Fisher Street in response to a call about a possible bomb/suspicious package being found. The item in question turned out to be a bag of tools, according to the police department.
