Bullpups look to remain perfect against the Rose Hill Rockets

The McPherson Bullpups take on the Rose Hill Rockets Friday night at McPherson Stadium at 7 in non-conference play. The Bullpups are trying to maintain their unblemished record in what will function as a tune-up for the playoffs. The Rockets are 2-4, and frankly, have had a pretty disappointing season. They’re giving up 27.8 points a contest and their offense has only been able to average a paltry 19 points a game. The Bullpups are averaging nearly 43 points a game and have put more than a few games into running clock mode. Their stingy defense has only allowed an average of ten points a game. Seniors Jakob Feil (A.K.A. X Feil) and Kaleb Hoppes will indubitably put on a show Friday night as they have done the entire season. I still can’t get over Feil’s punt return from last week, during which he resembled a whirling dervish as he skated past Augusta’s return defense. The team looks to be in great shape heading into the playoffs.

If you can’t make it into what is sure to be a raucous McPherson Stadium, you can stream the game here.
