A decision was made to cancel the Parade for Veterans Day. The parade was scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. The commanders of the McPherson VFW, the McPherson American Legion and the chairman of the Area Veterans made this decision.
The weather forecast is supposed to be very cold and with the addition of the wind, we decided that it was in the best interest of those in the parade to call it off, McPherson American Legion Post 24 Commander Jim LaDuke said
