LAWRENCE – It has been one month since the Central Christian College men’s basketball team beat Haskell University, but on Thursday night, it was a different story. The Tigers fall to the Indians 71-53 on the road. Just only 10 days after their win over Barclay College, the Tigers have lost three of the last four games, dropping to 7-3 on the season and 0-2 in conference play.
The Tigers only shot 37 percent from the field and 18 percent from the 3-point line. Isaiah Rivera was only Tiger to reach double figures with 15 points, while the Indians had four with Byron Elledge leading Haskell with 23 points. The Indians also out-rebounded the Tigers 35-26.
The Tigers look to bounce back when they take on Drury University on Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.
