Bulldogs lose to Oklahoma Wesleyan

McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College men’s basketball team couldn’t overcome the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagle’s hot shooting Saturday night, and they lost 88-80. The Eagles shot 50.4% from the field, and the Bulldogs only shot 37%. The Bulldogs opened the game like gangbusters, racing out to a 12-4 lead. Nothing seemed to go right for the Eagles in the opening minutes of the game however, this would quickly change. McPherson — The McPherson women’s basketball team lost to the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles Saturday afternoon, 69-63. It was a disheartening loss after the hugely emotional win against Sterling. The Bulldogs’ inability to establish a paint presence hurt them against a rugged Eagles team. The Bulldogs opened the game in control.
