Weekend Police Department Incident Responses
McPherson Police were busy over the weekend. Here are some of the incidents to which they responded:
McPherson Police Department officers responded to a residential burglary at 6:52 p.m. on Dec. 8 in the at a residence on North Maple Street. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
“The resident reported electronics, valued at $2,800 stolen from the residence,” McPherson Police Department Administrative Captain/Public Information Officer Mark Brinck said.
At 12:11 a.m. on Dec. 7, officers responded to a home on South Walnut Street for a possible burglary in progress. The situation was not as it seemed.
“The reporting party saw someone entering a residence through a window,” Brinck said. “Officers contacted the person who went through the window, whom Officers found lived at the residence.”
At 6:10 p.m. on Dec. 6, officers responded to a report of a past burglary at a business on North Main Street.
“Officers responded to a possible business break-in/burglary,” Brinck said. “A door knob was damaged, but no entry was made and nothing was stolen.”
