The community has rallied around their own with a fundraiser that has been established for the family of Reilly Berry, a 16-year-old McPherson High School sophomore who passed away suddenly on Wednesday.
“The loved ones of Reilly deeply appreciate the outpouring of love and community support we have received during this challenging time,” said Vicky Kloeppner, a close friend of the Berry family.
The fundraiser not only includes funds for the family’s expenses, but also meals for them throughout the upcoming holidays. True to the giving form of McPherson, the slots to provide meals for the family have been filling quickly. The fundraiser also allows for grocery and restaurant gift card donations. Food is not the only financial concern for the family during this difficult time. From funeral costs to counseling, they will benefit from even the smallest donation.
