Multiple Incidents of Theft, Vandalism Yesterday

McPherson Police Department officers took multiple reports of theft yesterday as well as vandalism.
At 9:59 a.m. officers responded to a residence on North Lehmer Street in references to a burglary and/or home invasion.
“Officers were dispatched to residence in reference to a theft of tools. Two victims reported tools valued at $360  stolen,” McPherson Police Department Administrative Captain/Public Information Officer Mark Brinck said. “The investigation continues. This incident was not a home invasion.”
At  10:57 a.m. officers then responded to Kerschner Drive for a report of a past theft and/or attempted theft.
“Officers were dispatched to a report of a theft of from a vehicle,” Brinck said. “The victim reported a knife stolen from victims vehicle.”
Another call came in from East Skancke Street at 1:23 p.m. of a past theft and/or attempted theft.
“Officers were dispatched to a report of a stolen bicycle,” Brinck said. “The victim reported a blue and black in color, females, Roadster bicycle, valued at $50, stolen.”
A report of vandalism came in at 12:53 p.m. from North Main Street. This however may have been an accident.

“Officers were dispatched to a report of a shopping cart hitting a vehicle,” Brinck said. “The victim reported scratches to their vehicle. The estimated cost of damage is $150.”
