McPherson has plenty for you to do this New Year’s Eve. From live music to food and drinks and even a little something to help you recover on New Year’s Day, Mac has you covered.
The McPherson Community Building will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party at 122 E. Marlin St. for those 21 and older. Social hour will be from 8 to 9 p.m. Music will run from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with drinks and dancing.
The cost to attend is $30 or eight for $200 and includes two drink tickets along with snacks. A vehicle has been provided by Midway Motors that will be used to get people home safely.
MPNaz Church, 1455 N. Main St. will be hosting a party for all ages. From 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. bring snacks and games to share with others in attendance. Sparkling juice will be provided at midnight. No alcohol is permitted. The Teen Center and upstairs area will be open and kids can enjoy movies in the playroom.
McPherson American Legion
At 401 N. Main St., the McPherson American Legion Post 24 New Year’s Eve party will kick off at 9 p.m. and go to 1 a.m. Live music from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and today will be played live by Artifact and the bar will be open. A cover will be charged at the door.
A local Uber will also be available for safe transportation.
Following the New Year’s Eve festivities, the McPherson American Legion will host a New Year’s Breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. The lounge will be open and breakfast will be served, along with Anne’s Famous Bloody Marys.
