Breaking: Stufflebean to play at Shrine Bowl

The Kansas Shrine Bowl has announced its 2020 roster and for the 13th consecutive season, A McPherson Bullpup was selected.

Cody Stufflebean will be the lone representative for McPherson, but he will be 20th Bullpup selected to play at the Shrine Bowl.

Stufflebean, a Kansas State commit, finished his senior year with 44 total tackles (31 solos), eight sacks, and 28 quarterback pressures. On offense, he caught 12 catches as a tight end. Half of them resulted in a touchdown. The 6-foot-4 247 pound athlete received recognition throughout the state. He made first-team all-state by the Wichita Eagle and Topeka Capital-Journal and was named defensive player of the year by the AVCTL Division III league and Sports in Kansas.

The Kansas Shrine Bowl will take place in Topeka on July 18th at 7 p.m.
