The McPherson Museum and Convention & Visitors Bureau will celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. & Kansas Day on Jan. 20 by offering reduced admission and the opportunity to learn about Kansas symbols, John Brown’s legacy to make Kansas a “free state” and Martin Luther King, Jr.’s impact on equal rights for all.
Cost to view all exhibits will be $0.34 per adult or senior; free for students. Any guesses why $0.34??
Admission hours are 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 5 p.m. with refreshments and free trolley rides with Kansas trivia available from 10 a.m. – noon and 2 – 4 p.m.
