McPherson Fire Department Incident Responses Jan. 8

At 9:32 a.m., McPherson Emergency Medical Services and McPherson Fire Department personnel responded to 770 E. Simpson St. in reference to a call about breathing problems.

At 3:03 p.m., McPherson Emergency Medical Services and McPherson Fire Department personnel responded to 1331 N. Main St. in reference to chest pain, following a motor vehicle accident.

At 2:26 p.m. emergency personnel from the Lindsborg, Marquette, McPherson, Moundridge and Roxbury Fire Departments, responded to Magnolia and Simpson in Salina to provide mutual aid in a request from Saline County.

The request for aid is a result of high winds across the state fueling fires. Fires have been contained in Saline County, but approximately 100 acres were burned and residents were evacuated from their homes, though no one was hurt and no structural damage has been reported.

At 9:41 p.m., McPherson Emergency Medical Services and McPherson Fire Department personnel responded to 900 W. Kansas Ave. for a medical emergency.
