The McPherson Public Library is introducing a new initiative, called TED Circles, which is designed to encourage small group conversations about a variety of topics. The library has been designated as an approved TED Circles site, with Shannon Brake as the Circle host. Each TED Circle is unique and all are virtually connected through the TED Circles platform – making it possible for local conversations to reach a global scale. The January session will be held on Jan. 20 from noon to 1 p.m. The theme for January is: The Future.
Community members who are interested in engaging in friendly and productive conversations are invited to participate. The theme will change each month, and the sessions will last about an hour.
