On Feb. 27, McPherson will host bestselling author John David Anderson. He will spend the day with local elementary school students and then he will make a presentation to the public at the McPherson Public Library from 6-7 p.m.
The library invites readers of all ages to attend Anderson’s presentation, “Searching for Superman: Finding Heroes in Literature and Life.” His books, written for middle-grade readers, continue to be spotted atop bestseller lists and are popular checkouts at the library. His latest book, “Posted”, is on the current William Allen White Children’s Book Award reading list.
“We cannot even begin to express how excited we are about having John David Anderson come to our library for a visit,” said Jennifer McCulley, McPherson Public Library’s Youth Services Coordinator. “We have heard great things about his presentation style and humor. It should prove to be a very entertaining evening.”
This event is free and open the public. For further information or for a complete schedule of library events, please contact the library at 620-245-2570 or visit www.macpl.org.
