McPherson Police Department Incident Responses Jan. 16-17


McPherson Police Department officers responded to multiple calls Jan. 16 and 17. Here is what you need to know:

At 9:21 p.m. on Jan. 16 officers responded to a business in the 1300 block of North Main Street for a call of theft.

“A clerk at the business reported a white female, driving a white in color SUV, drove away without paying for fuel, valued at $16.50. Investigation continues,” McPherson Police Department Administrative Captain/Public Information Officer Mark Brinck said.

At 1:48 p.m. on Jan. 17, officers responded to a call of vandalism on a residence on East Skancke Street. A fence was damaged. Also on Jan. 17 at 3:33 p.m., Officers responded to a residence in reference to mischief on East Seitz Street.

“The victim reported an egg had been broken on the door to the victim’s residence,” Brinck said.
