United Way Campaign Ends Jan. 31

The United Way campaign in McPherson County ends Jan. 31. So far, $228,128.51 has been pledged, which is 91% of United Way’s $250,000 goal.
The United Way campaign raises funds each year to support 17 local nonprofit programs which support McPherson County residents of all ages in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.
“Our campaigns have always showed me the power of communities when united for a common goal towards the greater good,” said United Way Campaign Chair Kipp Cordell. “This campaign was no different. We still have a little ways to go, however, I have confidence that we can hit our goal once again to be able to fully fund all of our agencies who work to better the lives of many in our county. If you have the means and are so inclined, we would greatly appreciate any generosity in the closing weeks of our campaign. You can be the answer our agencies, and the people they help, are looking for.”
Donations can be mailed to United Way at P.O. Box 55, made in person at the United Way office at 306 North Main, or online at United Way’s website, http://www.unitedwaymcpherson.org and click on “donate.”
