McPherson Police Department Incident Responses Jan. 23-25
McPherson Police Department officers responded to multiple calls Jan. 23-25. Here is what you need to know:
At 1:13 p.m. on Jan. 23, McPherson Police officers responded to a residence on East Elizabeth Street for a call of assault. This turned out to be an unruly juvenile. A report was taken.
At 1:32 p.m. on Jan. 24, officers were dispatched to a residence on North Walnut Street in reference to a burglary.
“The victims reported the residence broken into and property stolen,” McPherson Police Department Administrative Captain/Public Information Officer Mark Brinck said. “Damage to the residence is estimated at $90 and property stolen is valued at approximately $600.”
At 1:47 p.m. on Jan. 25, officers were dispatched to a residence on Millers Lane in reference to a stolen vehicle.
“The victim reported a vehicle may have been stolen, with the victim’s property inside,” Brinck said. “Investigation continues.”
A call came in at 7:04 p.m. on Jan. 25 in reference to drug use/possession/sale on North Lakeside Drive. However, McPherson Police Department officials have no information to release at this time.
At 8:04 p.m. on Jan. 25, officers were dispatched to a business on East Kansas Avenue in reference to a theft/shoplifting.
“The complainant reported merchandise, valued at approximately $230.00, stolen from the business,” Brinck said. “Investigation continues.”
