Bullpup Bowlers Beat Circle In Home Opener

Sports Editor Peter Holland Jr. Herb Halinksi, head coach of the McPherson High School bowling team said it was a bittersweet home opener for his bowlers on Friday afternoon. Not necessarily their best performance but enough to get the sweep over Circle High School. The boys team was led JC Becker as he bowled a 615. The Bullpups edged out the Thunderbirds 2188-1999. “JC Becker had a good day on the boys’ side,” Halinski said. “He was able to provide senior leadership by bowling good and keeping the others spirits up when they struggled.  I was very proud of him
