Bullpup Wrestlers Win At Fredonia

FREDONIA— The McPherson High School girls wrestling team left last weekend victorious at the Fredonia Invitational.
The Bullpups score a total of 123 points, edging out Fort Scott High School (118). Kaleigh Marbut McPherson’s top wrestler as she was the only Bullpup to take first place after going 4-0 in her 123-pound weight class. Catalina Palacios (130) Holli Giddings (155) and Maidson Skytte (191) finished second in their weight classes.

Meanwhile, the boys and girls junior varsity competed at Marion High School. Brock Burgess (113) and Jaytin Gumm (160 B) were the top finishers in the weight class on the boys’ side, while Arriana Gross (123-130) took first for the Lady Pups.
