McPherson Police Department Incident Responses Feb. 3

McPherson Police Department officers responded to multiple calls on Feb. 3. Here is what you need to know:

At 12:19 a.m. McPherson Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence on East Sutherland Street in reference to a missing or stolen dog.

“The dog was located and returned to the owner,” McPherson Police Department Administrative Captain/Public Information Officer Mark Brinck said.

At 9:47 a.m. officers were dispatched to worksite in East Veranda Court in reference to a theft.

“The complainants reported power tools, valued at over $5,000, stolen from trailers,” Brinck said. “Investigation continues.”

At 12:26 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence on Wildmeadow road in reference to a fraud.
“The victim reported someone used the victim’s name to order merchandise from a business outside of McPherson,” Brinck said. “The victim contacted the business and resolved the issue, without sustaining a financial loss.”
