Walk Kansas March 15 – May 9, 2020. Walk Kansas is a team-based program. Groups of six form a team, with one serving as the captain. Teams can be family, coworkers, friends, community organization members, neighbors, or part of a faith-based community. Team members do not have to live in the same town, county, state or country. MCPHERSON POLICE INVESTIGATE THREAT TO COMMIT VIOLENCE AT MCPHERSON HIGH SCHOOL

McPherson, Kansas (February 19, 2020) The McPherson Police Department investigated a threat to commit violence at the McPherson High School. On Wednesday, the McPherson Police Department received a report concerning a 15-year-old student threatening to commit violence at the McPherson High School. The McPherson Police Department investigated the incident and took the student into custody for disorderly conduct. Peggy Anderson Watts, 97, died Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Pleasant View Home, Inman, Kansas. Peggy was born June 7, 1922, in Hill City, Kansas, to Flora Charlotte Sickler and Frederick Steiner. Her mother remarried Oba Braxton “Jack” King and Peggy used King as her surname throughout her adult life. She attended Roosevelt Grade School, McPherson Junior High and in 1940 graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas. Peggy and Irvin M.
