On Sunday, March 15, 2020, at 7:30 pm – and just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! – the Celtic Angels return to the McPherson Opera House with their all-new show “Celtic Angels Ireland.” Produced in Ireland, the Celtic Angels performances are a complete celebration of Irish heritage through dance, music, and song.
The show features the Celtic Angels, who are Victoria Kenny, Emily Carroll, Tammy Browne, Amy Penston, and Ellie Mullane; the Celtic Knight Dancers, starring two former lead dancers of Riverdance, and the Trinity Band Ensemble of Dublin.
All of the Celtic Angels Ireland singers, dancers, and musicians are drawn from the Irish Cultural Academy and have performed across 6 continents and have graced the stages of some of the world’s greatest venues including Moscow’s Kremlin State Palace, Beijing Opera House, Radio City Music Hall, London’s Hyde Park, The Kennedy Center, Sydney Opera House, among others, and Ireland’s two 80,000 capacity venues; Croke Park & Slane Castle. They have also performed for several Irish Presidents, U.S. Presidents, the Queen of England.
“The Celtic Angels, along with other Irish heritage musical acts, have performed at the Opera House several times over the years and all have been incredibly popular with our audiences. The music is fun, the vocals are fabulous, and the dancing is downright amazing. We love bringing these programs to McPherson,” says McPherson Opera House Executive Director Diane Fallis. Adding, “It’s a show the whole family can enjoy.”
