McPherson Covid-19 Response Fund

The McPherson County Community Foundation has a COVID 19 Response Fund to help schools and organizations provide resources and funds to our county residents. These funds are intended to complement the work of our local entities and expand our capacity to address all aspects of the outbreak as efficiently as possible. The COVID-19 response funds will provide support to organizations that are assisting the most disproportionately impacted individuals and families.

Discussion have centered on using funds to help families with the extra food expense anticipated as students are learning virtually; expenses related to virtual learning including providing internet access for those without; childcare costs as facilities have to close during this time; and other needs that have yet to be identified.

Contributions to the fund may be given online by visiting the Foundation’s site at Checks may be sent to the McPherson County Community Foundation at PO Box 822, McPherson, KS 67460. Please note COVID-19 in the memo line. Individuals or families with donor advised funds at the Foundation, may also request distributions be transferred from their fund to the COVID 19 Response Fund.
