Rosellen Marie Lindblade, 86, of McPherson, Kansas passed away at 3:17 a.m., Sunday, May 24th, 2020 peacefully at Brookdale, McPherson. Rosellen was born in McPherson, Kansas on March 16, 1934, a daughter of Frank Martin and Edythe Lenore (Johnson) Straka. Rosellen attended Lincoln Elementary School, McPherson Junior High and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas in 1952. She then attended Emporia State College for 2 years receiving her teaching certificate. KDHE Recommends Self-quarantine for Kansans Who Traveled to Lake of the Ozarks

TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is recommending voluntary 14- day self-quarantine for those Kansans who traveled to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, over the Memorial Day weekend and did not use protective measures, such as social distancing and face masks. Elaine Walstrom, 99, of Mcpherson, Kansas, passed away at 8:45 p.m., Thursday, May 21st, 2020 peacefully at Pleasant View Home, Inman, Kansas. Elaine was born in Little River, Kansas on November 25, 1920, a daughter of  Fred A. and Alberta Mae (Banister) Fuller. Elaine attended Willis Grade School, Buhler, Kansas. McPherson Public Library Announces Start Date of 2020 Summer Library Program

Summer at the McPherson Public Library may look different this year, with the anticipated reopening scheduled for June 15, but library staff are still committed to continuing their decades-long tradition of summer library  programming.
