Tracy Lynn Rhea, 44, of Canton, Kansas passed away at 12:20 a.m., Sunday, May 31st, 2020 unexpectedly at McPherson Hospital, McPherson. Tilly H. Peterson, 93, formerly of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at at nursing care facility in Council Bluffs, IA. Tilly was born October 16, 1926, in Hanau, Germany, the daughter of Friedrich J. and Marie S. (Jung) Wegener. She spent her formative years in Germany until 1948, when she married Emil “Bud” Peterson, Jr. on August 28, 1948, in Hanau, Germany. McPherson County at 29 Reported Covid-19 Cases.

McPherson County Health Department reports 29 total confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in McPherson County, and one is hospitalized at this time. 25 of the total confirmed cases have now met recovery guidelines set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The newest positive case is a male in his 40s recovering at home and has unknown exposure at this time. No further information will be released about the patient.
