McPHERSON, KAN. – McPherson College recently announced its plans for a condensed fall semester that will begin with on-campus classes on August 17 and conclude before Thanksgiving break on November 24. President Michael Schneider shared information about the college’s plans for the fall in his weekly update to students and families. “The past several months have taught us that things can change quickly,” President Schneider said. ‘We are excited to get students and faculty back on campus and have been working diligently to finalize plans for a healthy and safe return to classes this fall. McPHERSON, KAN. – Aaron Leck was recognized by the Kansas Independent College Foundation (KICF) for his excellence in academics, character, and integrity, along with his commitment to the value of a private college education in Kansas. He was among 20 students from private colleges across the state to receive the Maud Wyatt Recognition Scholarship presented by KICF. Leck, who is from McPherson, is a senior at McPherson College majoring in biology and minoring in philosophy. He hopes to be in a position where his work helps others after he graduates and is looking forward to the scientific research in biology
