Obituary: Jimmy Galen Wayne Stout

Jimmy Galen Wayne Stout, 73, of Canton, KS, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at his home in Canton.  He had worked at Agco in Hesston, CertainTeed, and Swick Guth, Inc., both in McPherson. Jimmy was born on September 20, 1946, in McPherson, KS, the son of Jessie L. and Jewell (Cato) Stout.  He graduated from McPherson High School in 1964 and attended McPherson College. He was united in marriage to Elaine Stoneback on January 2, 1966, in McPherson, KS.  He later married Caralee Diederich and Linda “Jill” Haggart. Have you ever come to a stop at a four-way intersection at approximately the same time as another driver, and you were unsure who should proceed first? This week’s Traffic stop Tuesday addresses this very issue. According to Standard Traffic Ordinance (STO), Sec. 57 on Vehicles Approaching or Entering Intersection, When two vehicles approach or enter an intersection from different highways at approximately the same time, the driver of the vehicle on the left shall yield the right-of-way to the vehicle on the right. Obituary: Donald Dean Seibel

Donald Dean Seibel, 85, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020, at his home in McPherson.  He was retired from Williams Energy Services in Conway. He also served in the Army National Guard.
