McPherson County Health Department reports 117 total confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in McPherson County. 99 of the total confirmed cases have now met recovery guidelines set forth by the KDHE. Obituary: Gregory Lindahl Heitkotter, Sr.

Gregory Lindahl Heitkotter, Sr., 65, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2020, surrounded by family at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, Wichita. He was born on November 12, 1954, in Smith Center, KS, the son of Perry Bernard and Sylvia Eloise “Peggy” (Marshall) Heitkotter.  He graduated from McPherson High School in 1973. Greg served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. McPHERSON, KAN. –McPherson College has announced a $1 million matching gift challenge from Florida philanthropist and automotive enthusiast, Dano Davis.
