Eddie Van Halen dies at 65

Eddie Van Halen, the all-American guitar hero who, with his namesake hard-rock band Van Halen, redefined the sound and possibilities of the electric guitar in the 1970s and ’80s, died on Tuesday at age 65. Police to Host Meet and Greet

The McPherson Police Department will have a meet and greet Friday, October 9th,  from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the McPherson Community Building. The movie called, “Officer Involved” will be showing during the event, as well as a slide show featuring some favorite officers with citizens.   Officers will have corn hole games set up and will be ready to play community members. The McPherson Police Benefit Fund Association will have items for sale to raise money for their organization. COVID-19 guidelines will need to be adhered to.
