Flu Vaccine Dates Set

The Family Medicine providers of McPherson Medical and Surgical Associates at McPherson Center for Health announce their annual flu vaccine clinic for their patients. They have set the dates for October 14, 16, 21 and 23 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at 1000 Hospital Drive, Building 3. Current patients of these providers may either call the clinic at 620-241-7400 to make an appointment for one of the dates listed above, or submit a request from the website at http://www.mcphersoncenterforhealth.org. Obituary: Ione Marie Nelson

 Ione Marie Nelson, 87, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, in her daughter’s home and in the same room in which Marquette’s midwife delivered her on January 20, 1933. She was the youngest of three children born to Chester and Verna Lindstrom. As the only girl, she was known by her family as “Sis.”    After graduating from Marquette High School in 1951, Ione began nurse’s training at the Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City.
