McPherson Center for Health announces new construction outside its Medical Office Building, Building 3. Access to the building, which houses the staff and providers of McPherson Medical and Surgical Associates at 1000 Hospital Drive, has been difficult for some patients.
“We have been aware of concerns and have explored various options related to the parking area distance, the sidewalk grade to the building, and when weather is an issue,” said Terri Gehring, president and CEO. “We are pleased that we now have the resources and are able to respond with a viable solution to make the entrance more easily accessible for our patients.”
A new driveway is currently being installed that will bring patients closer to the building entrance for easier access when needed. Patients seeing providers in the Medical Office Building, Building 3 should expect construction areas and various changes in access to the building through the month of November.
Gehring said, “We are doing our best to limit disruption and apologize for this temporary inconvenience, but we want to provide our patients with the easiest entry to see their care providers. This requires some temporary alterations to access but it will be a drastic improvement for those needing assistance. We appreciate our patients’ understanding as we make these much-needed upgrades.”
