Donna Sue Lehner, 78, of McPherson, KS, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  She had been a McPherson resident for many years and was an agent for New York Life. She was born January 15, 1942 in Norwich, Kansas, the daughter of Donald R. and Joyce A. (Lear) Moore.  Donna graduated from Arlington (KS) High School in 1959. She then attended Hutchinson Junior College and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Wichita State University. Harold Dow “Buck” Carter was born in Wichita, KS and raised in McPherson, KS, graduating from McPherson High in 1966. He went directly into the Navy where he served in Vietnam. Very little of his war experiences were shared because it was something he didn’t want to remember and put it in other’s minds. He was plagued by agent-orange and had multiple health problems for many years. He worked for Johns Manville 20 + years, retiring with disability.
