Two Active Cases of COVID-19 at McPherson College

McPherson College and the McPherson County Health Department are investigating two active cases of COVID-19 on our campus.  The individuals have been in quarantine since they were tested and are now in isolation off-campus.  The college is assisting local health officials to trace contacts. The McPherson County Health Department will contact anybody who has been exposed.  The health department defines exposure as a contact for 10 minutes or more without a mask or social distancing.  This is the first reported cluster of cases to occur at McPherson College.

United Way Community Response fund helps local families

McPherson, KS – United Way of McPherson County continues to help McPherson County residents through its Community Response and Recovery Fund.   United Way has helped 54 families so far with rent, utility, and medication payments totaling $23,206.70.
