Bullpup Swimmers Take Second in Wichita

Sports Editor Peter Holland Jr. WICHITA— The McPherson High School boys swim team had another solid weekend as it took second in the Wichita Northwest Invitational on Saturday. Rhys Vanderhoof had a big day as he took first in the 200 individual medley with the time of 2:15.07.  Logn Ediger was not too far off with the third-place finish at 2:27.19. Bullpup Swimmers Win At El Dorado

Sports Editor Peter Holland Jr. EL DORADO— In a make-up swim meet in El Dorado, the McPherson High School boys swim team was victorious on Tuesday. The Bullpups were in a tight race with Maize South High School (488) and Maize High School (416) but with the score of 502 points, the Bullpups edged both division rivals. Bullpup Swimmers take second in Wichita Heights

Sports Editor Peter Holland Jr. WICHITA— The McPherson High School boys swimming team was tested this past weekend in the Wichita Heights Invitational and received a second-place finish out of 23 teams. The Bullpups had 238 points, only falling behind to Wichita East High School, with 245 points. On Thursday, the Bullpups were in Salina for back-to-back meets in the Salina Central High School and Salina South. High School division. McPherson won both divisions. Justus Hampton and Will Powers put on another record-breaking performance. Sports Editor Peter Holland Jr. WICHITA—It was the Christmas relay that keeps on giving in Wichita Heights as the McPherson High School boys swim team finished third on Thursday despite missing some of its swimmers. The Bullpups traveled only nine swimmers during the exhibition event.
