Tracy Lynn Rhea, 44, of Canton, Kansas passed away at 12:20 a.m., Sunday, May 31st, 2020 unexpectedly at McPherson Hospital, McPherson. Tracy was born in McPherson, Kansas on July 2, 1975, a daughter of Lauren Hamm and Paulette (Campbell) Boeh. Tracy attended Hillsboro Grade School, Hillsboro Junior High  and Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, Kansas. Community Spread Determined in McPherson County

Due to the increasing amount of COVID-19 cases in McPherson County without a history of travel, McPherson County Health Department believes it is likely that the disease is spread person to person, indicating community spread. McPherson County Buildings Closed to the Public

Commissioners voted unanimously that all County Buildings will be locked with no public access allowed, unless by appointment with specific departments, effective at 12:00 p.m. March 25, 2020.  Business will be conducted by phone, online correspondence or mail until further notice.  This excludes the Law Enforcement Center, which has posted its own public entrance policies.  Contact information for each department within the McPherson County Courthouse will be posted at all entrances.  Contact information and announcements for County Departments are also being updated on the County website  www.mcphersoncountyks.us
