Tigers Suffer Home Loss To OCU

Sports Editor Peter Holland Jr. Central Christian College basketball teams hosted Oklahoma City University on Thursday as both teams were not so successful in beating the Stars. The Central men, however, were in a similar situation with OCU. The last time the two faced off,  the Stars won in overtime, 83-79 in early January. This time, the Tigers lost 76-71. Central Christian College Fall 2019 Honor Roll

Central Christian College of Kansas is pleased to announce a very successful fall semester with 89 students making the honor roll. Sports Editor Peter Holland Jr. WAXAHACHIE, TX — The Central Christian College men’s and women’s basketball team suffered another sweep on Thursday to Southwestern Assemblies of God University. The Lady Tigers fell to SAGU 91-70, dropping them to 5-11 on the season, and 2-7 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. The Tigers were led by Holly Golden, who scored 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Cheyenne Marshall was the second-leading scorer with 10 points. Tigers sweep Aggies at home

The Central Christian College men’s basketball team snapped its six-game losing streak after beating Oklahoma Panhandle State 81-64, while the women picked up their second conference win over the Aggies, 81-72. The women fall to the Eagles 99-63, while the men lost 67-49. Fresh of their first conference win, the Lady Tigers were not able to get any wins consistently. Tigers split with SCU

BETHANY, OKLA. — The Central Christian College basketball team traveled to Bethany, Oklahoma to face Southwestern Christian University on Tuesday. The Men’s team was victorious, defeating the Eagles 75-70, but the Women’s team was not so successful as the fall to Southwestern College 84-78.
