McPherson Fire Department Runs Jan. 27-28

McPherson Fire Department firefighters responded to multiple incidents in and around McPherson Jan. 27-28 At 9:13 a.m. on Jan. 27, McPherson firefighters and emergency medical services responded to 426 E. Ave. A for a call of fainting episodes. Then at 9:17 a.m. a call for a welfare check at 606 N. Hartup St. was cancelled while firefighters were enroute. At 1:22 p.m. on Jan. 28, firefighters responded to a fire alarm at 120 N. Main St. for a fire investigation. Winter Weather Causes Multiple Slide-Offs

The McPherson area saw a little winter weather yesterday which delayed area schools and businesses. In addition, McPherson County emergency personnel responded to multiple vehicle slide-offs. According to the McPherson County Communications Public Information log, 11 calls were received by dispatch in regards to vehicle slide-off incidents. The Kansas Highway Patrol released a statement on social media around 7 a.m. yesterday stating that the majority of calls for trooper assistance were coming from Ellsworth, McPherson, and Geary Counties.
