At 7:58 p.m. on Jan. 30, McPherson Police Department officers and McPherson Emergency Medical Services responded to a residence in regards to a caller in danger. “Officers were dispatched to an ongoing physical disturbance at a residence in the 1100 Block of Lyndon Rd. in McPherson. Winter Weather Causes Multiple Slide-Offs

The McPherson area saw a little winter weather yesterday which delayed area schools and businesses. In addition, McPherson County emergency personnel responded to multiple vehicle slide-offs. According to the McPherson County Communications Public Information log, 11 calls were received by dispatch in regards to vehicle slide-off incidents. The Kansas Highway Patrol released a statement on social media around 7 a.m. yesterday stating that the majority of calls for trooper assistance were coming from Ellsworth, McPherson, and Geary Counties.
