According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), a woman from Platte City, Missouri, sustained severe injuries in a collision that occurred on Friday night in Platte County.
At approximately 10:41 p.m. on Friday, the driver of a 2003 Toyota made an attempt to maneuver around debris on Interstate 29, located just east of North Bethel Avenue.
According to the MSHP, the driver made an overcorrection and ended up veering into the path of a 2016 Ram. As a result, the Ram collided with the driver’s vehicle.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the Toyota’s female driver was taken to a nearby hospital with severe injuries.
Fortunately, the driver of the Ram escaped unharmed.
The crash is currently under investigation by MSHP.
