Days following the passing of O.J. Simpson, his last will and testament has been revealed. Various sources have reported that his son, Justin Simpson, has been named as the beneficiary in the legal documents. Additionally, the responsibility of managing his estate has been entrusted to lawyer Malcolm LaVergne, who has expressed his commitment to ensuring that the Goldman family receives no financial compensation from the Simpson estate. It is said that Simpson has had a longstanding debt to Ron Goldman’s family, dating back to 1997.

According to PEOPLE, LaVergne expressed his hope that the Goldmans receive no compensation. He specifically mentioned that he will utilize his role as the executor or personal representative to make sure they receive nothing.

The Orenthal Simpson Revocable Living Trust states that it will be administered without any litigation or disputes. If anyone, including beneficiaries, heirs, or any other person, attempts to challenge or invalidate the administration of this Will or alter its provisions, they will only receive one dollar ($1.00) and no more, instead of any claimed interest in the will or its assets.

According to an attorney representing Fred Goldman, the father of Ron Goldman, it was revealed last week that Simpson passed away without ever making amends. The attorney stated that Simpson had no intention of providing any financial support to Fred, not even a small amount.

In addition, attorney David Cook claims that Simpson still has outstanding payments to make towards the judgment from 1997.

In 1994, Simpson faced charges for the double murder of his former wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman. While he was controversially acquitted of the murders in 1995, he was later found responsible for their deaths in 1997. As a consequence, he was ordered to pay the Goldman and Brown families a sum of $33.5 million. Over the years, the debt has accumulated interest, amounting to over $110 million at present, as confirmed by Cook.

Cook also admitted that the verdict had been renewed in 2022. According to court documents from that year, it was revealed that Simpson had reportedly paid the Goldmans $133,000 since 1997.

Simpson passed away on April 10 after fighting prostate cancer. The news of his death was confirmed by his children through X (formerly known as Twitter) the next day.

“On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, passed away after his long fight against cancer,” the Simpson family shared in a heartfelt post. “He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren during his final moments. As our family navigates through this difficult time, we kindly ask for privacy and understanding.”
