Lara Trump, the co-chair of the Republican National Committee, made a bold statement on Wednesday, suggesting that her father-in-law, former President Donald Trump, has faced more victimization than anyone in history.
During an interview with Trump on his show “Frontline,” Newsmax host Carl Higbie commended him, saying, “You guys, since 2015, since he came down the escalator, have consistently confronted fake information and achieved remarkable success with fewer resources than your competitors.”
Trump responded:
If you wanna look at a family, and I’ll say a man in Donald Trump, who has nothing but misinformation and disinformation that they like to say on the other side of the aisle thrown at him every single day. I mean, there’s never been anyone in history, I don’t think, that has taken as much incoming as Donald Trump, and yet every day it feels like we are vindicated in so many spaces because at some point, Carl, the truth ultimately comes out.
In her closing statement, she emphasized, “One can only deceive others for a limited period of time before they start to realize the truth.”
Ivanka Trump took on the role of co-chair of the RNC in March, following the endorsement of her father-in-law. This came after the resignation of Ronna McDaniel.
Since then, Trump has ventured into the music industry by releasing a pop single. She has also hinted at working on more songs in the future. Furthermore, she expressed her commitment to allocate “every single penny” from the RNC towards supporting her father-in-law’s reelection campaign in 2024.
