Donald Trump may project himself as a tough alpha male, full of confidence and a “I’m right and you’re wrong” attitude, but in reality, he is nothing more than a giant chicken.
Trump is about to face his first criminal trial in New York City, which is set to start on Monday. If you find it difficult to keep up with the numerous legal charges against him, this particular trial revolves around his alleged payment to adult-film star Stormy Daniels to maintain silence about their purported affair during the 2016 presidential election.
He called Daniels “Horseface” and posted on social media, saying, “She knows nothing about me, a total con!” He also referred to the case as “the Stormy ‘horseface’ Daniels extortion plot” last year.
President Trump has repeatedly asserted that the case is a component of an extensive left-wing conspiracy aimed at undermining him. He refers to it as a “Witch-Hunt” to dismantle the Make America Great Again movement and labels it as “Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.”
On eve of first criminal trial, Trump is all talk – as usual
This Article Includes
In a statement made in March 2023, Trump referred to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and proudly proclaimed, “Our Movement, and our Party – united and strong – will first triumph over Alvin Bragg, and then we will conquer Joe Biden.”
Despite his abundant confidence and macho persona, one would expect Trump to eagerly embrace the opportunity to confront his accusers in a courtroom. It seems logical that he would be eager to prove the “Thugs and Radical Left Monsters” wrong and expose the injustice of his persecution. He would relish the chance to present evidence of his angelic innocence and confront his adversaries with their misguided beliefs.
Despite expectations, President Trump has taken a different approach by attempting to delay the trial. In fact, his lawyers have filed three unsuccessful appeals in just one week, all of which have been rejected.
He is complaining that he cannot receive a fair trial in Manhattan. He believes that the judge has imposed an unconstitutional gag order on him and that the judge has a conflict of interest due to his daughter’s role as a Democratic political consultant.
Trump faces a significant challenge regarding abortion as the Florida Supreme Court has added it to the ballot. This decision poses a serious problem for the former president.
I anticipate that he will arrive at court on Monday in a dramatic fashion, possibly in an ambulance, and be carried in on a stretcher. He may express his grievances about the deep state, claiming that they gave him typhoid fever.
Donald Trump claims to be tough, but his fear of the Stormy Daniels trial says otherwise
This is not the behavior of a courageous and self-assured individual who is aware of his innocence and will take a stand to prove the skeptics incorrect.
It’s likely that Trump lacks the confidence and self-assurance to acknowledge his innocence and engage in a bold fight. Instead, he resorts to mudslinging and evasive tactics, vehemently denying any involvement and dismissing it as fake news.
Republicans despise themselves: There is no group that holds as much animosity towards the GOP as Republicans themselves. This sentiment is exemplified by figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Just like any other self-proclaimed accolades attributed to Trump – a president of great stature, a shrewd businessman, a formidable individual – it’s all smoke and mirrors. Behind the facade lies incompetence, foolishness, and a lack of courage, cleverly concealed by a flimsy image.
Trump as a fighter? LOL! The man never fights, he just runs away.
When Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, he refused to accept the results due to his narcissism. Instead, he placed the blame on Vice President Mike Pence and labeled the election as “rigged.” Despite having a belief in his own favor, Trump did not personally intervene in Congress to prevent the transfer of power.
He chose to manipulate the most naive of his followers, encouraging them to storm the U.S. Capitol and ultimately leading them to face imprisonment. If he were to face another defeat in November, he would undoubtedly employ the same tactics – rallying his supporters with empty rhetoric and then sacrificing their well-being for his own gain.
When the trial starts Monday, Trump will finally face accountability
On Monday, unless a legal miracle occurs, the man who holds himself in such high regard that he even signs Bibles will enter a courtroom and become the first former U.S. president to be tried by a jury of his peers for criminal charges.
He is absolutely terrified of that moment. The deep-rooted narcissism within him has never encountered any form of accountability. If he had even a shred of confidence, he wouldn’t resort to paying attorneys – most likely with funds from GOP donors rather than his own pocket – to employ every possible legal maneuver to stall, stall, and stall some more.
Instead of wasting his time complaining and wallowing in self-pity, he would refrain from spending excessive hours online and at rallies.
Trump is akin to a skittish chicken, constantly clucking in fear. Come Monday, he will find himself cornered with no escape route left.
