“He said, ‘Coach, there’s no reason for you to stay down here in Louisiana any longer. Come to New York with me and enjoy yourself, and get your mind back on track because you know how much you loved your wife, and how much I loved your wife,'” Butch recalls. “And I have to say, it has been a wonderful opportunity.”
Now, they have become official roommates! It’s quite surprising to see a former high school coach and an NBA player living together, even if it’s just temporarily. However, it’s evident that this arrangement is mutually beneficial for both of them. It’s truly remarkable to see this NBA star giving back to the man who played a significant role in helping him achieve his full potential!
